                   recently visited Carla and observed her guided meditation at the Washtenaw County Jail.  He was certainly appreciated by the inmates, as well as the staff.
Dawn Farm's Japan Connection is a committed group of loving people from Japan fighting for the establishment of a permanent addiction treatment system.Their vision is that every addict who needs help will receive compassionate and hope-filled care from competent professionals in Japan. They were so excited about what they heard about Carla's ideas that they brought a group of addiction counselors, social workers, nurses and volunteers to visit and observe the Washtenaw County Jail's Therapeutic Unit.
The goal of Dawn Farm is to assist addicts and alcoholics in achieving long term recovery. Dawn Farm will identify and remove barriers that prevent addicts and alcoholics from joining the recovering community.
